M&T Bank CAPABILITY MANAGER – TREASURY TRANSFORMATION (HYRBRID) in Buffalo, New York

Overview:

The Capability Manager – Treasury Functions Transformation will be responsible for managing the transformation around execution, governance, methodology and support of various Treasury functions within Project RISE including Liquidity, Interest Rate and Capital risk and processes supporting those functions.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Treasury leaders to transform system and processes.

  • Work closely with Senior Management, and Key Stakeholders to create efficient execution systems and processes

  • Develop new tools for calculations, and govern data quality and controls

  • Establish strategic implementation objectives and plans related to Process Re-engineering with senior sponsors across Treasury to lead change activities

  • Manage and formulate business opportunities in the long-term planning process, including development and adoption of business case, responsible for implementation of overall initiatives.

  • Partner with Treasury leaders to scale and time deliverables with in the broader Finance Transformation time lines

  • Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.

  • Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand.

  • Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.

  • Complete other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Required:

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of

10 years’ proven marketing, product management, financial, operations and/or project management experience,

OR in lieu of a degree,

A combined minimum of 14 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 10 years’ proven marketing, product management, financial, operations and/or project management experience.

M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $118,945.80 - $198,243.00 Annual (USD). The successful candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
