Title: Software Engineer III

DESCRIPTION:
Contribute to teams responsible for the implementation of Bank Secrecy Act Anti-Money Laundering (BSA AML) compliance system solutions for identification, authentication, alerting and protection against fraudulent activities internally or externally; develop backend database solutions and integration services for various applications under eFCI (Enterprise Financial Crime Fraud and Identity); architect solutions for online transaction processing (OLTP), operational data stores, data warehouses, data management, Enterprise Data Hub, MDM, and data migrations; design data models for OLTP and online analytical processing (OLAP) systems; design and develop relational databases including Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle; design solutions involving JSON and XML data structures; design and build ELT and ETL solutions with Microsoft SSIS packages; use the following modelling tools: Erwin, Embarcadero ER, and Studio; build REST APIs; create data pipelines for integration; utilize Scrum and agile methodology; building CI/CD using GitLab; define solution patterns, coding guideline, and best practices for backend and middle tier components; provide project sizing and estimation for story cards; participate in preparation of backlog grooming and refinement; work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product Owner, and Enterprise Architects to support their data needs and assist them with technical solutioning; design solution diagrams for functional and technical team members; unit test code for user stories; approve code merge requests; support QA and business users in testing; and guide the team, ensuring that code development adheres to the recommended architecture/design.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum requirements: Eight (8) years of experience (or a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, any Engineering, or a related technical field and 6 years of experience) architecting solutions for OLTP, ODS, and data migration systems; of which six (6) years includes designing data models for OLTP and OLAP systems; designing and developing relational databases including Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle; designing solutions involving JSON and XML data structures; designing and building ELT and ETL solutions with Microsoft SSIS packages; of which three (3) years includes architecting solutions for DWH, DM, Enterprise Data Hub, and MDM; using the following modeling tools: Erwin, Embarcadero ER, and Studio; building REST APIs; creating data pipelines for integration; utilizing Scrum and agile methodology; and building CI/CD using GitLab.
SALARY: $151,831.09 - $161,831.09 per year
