Title: Software Engineer II
Job Location: 301 West 11th Street, Wilmington, DE 19801
DESCRIPTION:
Provide designs, specify information systems solutions and the highest-level technical direction in the development of new or existing applications using Tech Stacks, including COBOL, CICS, VSAM, and JCL; prepare and manage the technical component of project plans; confer with other Development, Operations and Technology staff in overall systems development direction from technical analysis to user acceptance testing; contribute to teams responsible for enhancing, maintaining, and developing Consumer Lending Systems, including applications, loans, retail credit card, and loan origination systems, using COBOL and Easytrieve; support TSYS vendor and bank by converting current systems to TSYS platform and maintain accounts as needed; and write API process for upstream applications to receive/send business functionality to TSYS vendor, using mainframe tools and z/OS system.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical field, and two (2) years of experience developing software applications using COBOL and Easytrieve; using Tech Stacks, including COBOL, CICS, VSAM, and JCL; and working with mainframe tools, including TSO, ISPF, FileAid, QMF, Expediter and the z/OS system.
Salary: $132,685.00 - $142,685.00 per year.
